About the study: The Promoting Empathy and Affiliation in Relationships (PEAR) Study will recruit 500 parents and children 3 and 4 years old at the time of the first visit. Participation will involve coming into a research lab near you for fun, age-appropriate activities and answering questions to help us learn more about how to promote healthy parent-child relationships.

 

Compensation: Compensation is up to $150 for participating in a first visit when children are 3-4 years old and up to $170 for participating in a second visit when children are 5-6 years old. Total compensation will be $320 for participating fully in the study.

 

Flexible scheduling: Lab visits will last approximately 2.5 to 3 hours and will be scheduled around your availability. Sibling childcare can be provided.  

 

Start date: The first visits for the PEAR Study will start in early 2023 and run through 2024.
